It’s been a circuitous path, this life of mine. Born in Iowa, grew up in Nebraska, then many miles of globe-trotting before I ended up in California.

The place I was meant to be all along.

While living in Wisconsin, way before I was a photographer, I had a vision. The vision goes something like this…

I am walking on a beach, carrying a heavy black bag. Alongside me is a tall, handsome man. Stage right, a blond curly haired boy runs into view.

Many moves and lots of hard work later…

My vision came true in California. I met and married the love of my life. I am blessed with children that are the light of my soul (one is a blond curly headed boy).

And I’ve been fortunate enough to tote my heavy black camera bag around the world working as a photographer. How lucky can one girl be?

I’ve photographed the entire gamut life has to offer; births, body builders, CEOs, happy couples, fantastic families, you name it.

My entire focus in photography, and in life for that matter, is relationships. Aren’t relationships the meaning of life anyway?

I find us humans endlessly fascinating. Using photography, I get to explore the delicate balance of truth and theater. My strength is to seamlessly combine the two while creating thoughtful compositions

with a collaborative spirit. In the end, everyone has fun.
